About

Welcome!  We are so glad you are here.

This blog is an individual initiative to compile a list of blogs written by Baha'i mothers.  As we all take part in a common vision about the purpose of life and our role in the world, we hope this space can serve as a source of inspiration and community.

It should be noted that all of the blogs included on this website are personal initiatives and do not represent the entire Baha'i community nor are they official sources of information on the Baha'i Faith.

If you are a Baha'i mother and would like to add your blog or website, please contact us.

Each Gregorian month we aim to feature a new Baha'i mom blog on the website.  If you are interested in contributing towards this feature please contact us.

The blog was created and is maintained by Leanna of All Done Monkey and Chelsea of Veritable Treasure / Enable Me To Grow.

Our Logo

The "Baha'i Mom Blogs" Logo (used for the button and banner) was created by Bre Vader, a talented Baha'i mom who has created various materials for Baha'i Children.

Our Tagline

Our tagline comes from the following quotation in the Baha'i Writings.  Learn more about the Baha'i Faith here.

"Every child is potentially the light of the world -- and at the same time its darkness; wherefore must the question of education be accounted as of primary importance. From his infancy, the child must be nursed at the breast of God's love, and nurtured in the embrace of His knowledge, that he may radiate light, grow in spirituality, be filled with wisdom and learning, and take on the characteristics of the angelic host."
      ('Abdu'l-Baha, Selections from the Writings of Abdu'l-Baha, p. 129)
